TOTAL CONFIDENCE ON EVERY ASCENT

Traditional aiders help hunters gain height, but many introduce instability, poor foot placement, and uncertainty during the climb. MAXX™ STEP Aiders were designed to solve those problems. The solid-step platform and aggressive tree-gripping teeth create a more stable climbing experience, helping hunters move efficiently and confidently from the ground to hunting height.

Built For Real Foot Placement

Unlike traditional rope and webbing aiders that can twist, sway, or collapse underfoot, MAXX™ STEP Aiders provide a structured stepping surface that makes climbing feel more natural and predictable.

Tree-Gripping Stability

Aggressive teeth bite into the tree to help minimize movement during the climb, creating a more confidence-inspiring connection between hunter and tree.

"I just want to say, I received my 2 MAXX Aiders last week and I couldn't be happier. I've tried all kinds of aiders and they were all a waste of time and money. These aiders are the best out there by far. They give you confidence to climb up and down without worry. I will be buying another 1 at some point. I just can't say enough good things about these aiders. Thank you for bringing them to the market."

MORE HEIGHT. FEWER CLIMBING STICKS.

Every climbing stick adds weight, bulk, and complexity to your mobile hunting setup. MAXX™ Aiders help hunters gain additional height from every stick, allowing many hunters to reach common hunting heights with fewer sticks on their pack.

Reduce Pack Weight & Bulk

Carry fewer climbing sticks without sacrificing hunting height.

Maximize Every Step

Get more vertical gain from the climbing system you already own.

Built For Mobile Hunting

Ideal for public land hunters, long walk-ins, and hunters focused on efficiency.

THE DESCENT MATTERS TOO

Most aiders are designed around the climb up. MAXX™ Aiders improve the climb down as well.

Easy To Find In Low Light

Integrated glow features help hunters quickly locate each step during early-morning setups and after-dark descents.

No More Fishing For A Rope Step

The solid-step design provides a consistent target for your boot, reducing the frustration of searching for a swinging rope aider in the dark.

Confidence When It Counts

Finish the hunt with the same confidence you started with.

WHICH MAXX™ STEP AIDER IS RIGHT FOR YOU?

Choose the aider that best matches your climbing style, desired height gain, and comfort level. Whether you're looking for maximum simplicity or maximum efficiency, there's a MAXX™ Aider built for your setup.

Single Step Aider

Best for hunters looking for modest height gains with maximum stability. Commonly used on upper climbing sticks.

Double Step Aider

The most versatile option. Provides substantial height gain while maintaining excellent climbing confidence. Commonly used on bottom sticks and throughout climbing systems.

Triple Step Aider

Designed for hunters seeking maximum climbing efficiency and maximum height gain from the fewest number of climbing sticks.

HOW TO VIDEO

Customers praised this climbing stick aider for safety and stability, with one noting it was "rock solid" at 265 pounds. Shoppers appreciated the easy footing in the dark and improved confidence when climbing. While some found them less sturdy than expected and inconvenient to pack, most agreed they work better than single wire aiders.

Wow. The safety and security I feel using this aider over the previous thin amsteel one I had is really invaluable. It also adds speed to my climbing due to not having to fish around for the step with my foot. I can just step and apply weight.
In all fairness it adds a little awkward bulk vs a thin rope however the speed and safety make it absolutely worth it for me.

A great option

I used these for the first time yesterday. They worked much better than other aiders that I’ve tried. They weren’t as sturdy as I expected, but they still got the job done.

Just started using these this year. I have no complaints. Stable to use.

100% like the idea just not very convenient when trying to pack everything back up after the hunt

While they may not pack up like other aiders. They are the best for safety. I’ll take that over anything. Climbing up or down in the dark has been so much easier. Not fumbling around trying to find my footing. Like I had to with other aiders has made me more confident when climbing a tree.

Big guy approved

Bought these to replace single wire aiders and help eliminate a stick or 2. 265 pounds and these were rock solid. Very happy. Can’t wait to pair with the new arsenal sticks when they arrive.

Highly recommend if you are new to using aiders. The design allows for you not to have to search for a step either while acceding or deciding.
