ICON™ X20 Climbing Sticks

Best quality and safest sticks I have ever used. I own and/or have used many of the top-end sticks including one sticks and hyperlites. The hyperlites attachment sucks so I changed it to amsteel daisy chain and that’s better, but they still flex like crazy and only dig in at the tips of the standoffs, plus it’s like 16” or 17” step height so you need 4 plus an aider to get high enough. I’ve had one sticks kick out on straight oak trees before. Only a couple times, but it happened. They are 18” steps vs 20” for the Icons. THESE ICONS BITE! I climb crooked trees where sometimes I only have three points of contact with the tree and they STILL DON’T SLIP! If I have any complaint it would be the weight at 1.5 lbs, but you get >10% step height improvement over the one sticks and they pack ~30% shorter. You gain ~20% step height over the hyperlites. The quality of these things is beyond imagination compared to all other sticks out there. To me the 1/2 pound weight penalty per stick is worth it, especially since I can carry one less stick. 3 Icons plus Maxx aiders gets me higher than 20 feet and packs smaller (with the aiders attached) than the competition. Keep up the great work guys.

These sticks bite in the tree great and I have plenty of room with my feet when climbing I wear a size 10 mens

Love the way they stack and carry. Stick great to the tree and rope mod works excellent. Same width as my platow pack to carry.

The clamp that holds the sticks together when stacked them could be a bit titer so it actually holds stick together. I ordered 3 sticks and the clamp for each stick has different size. One holds really good but the other two's are a bit wider and did not hold them at all. See picture below. Bottom sticks holds but the 2 on top doesn't.

Best climbing stick I’ve used

I bought 4 of these and have 2 hunts with these. I sold my Tethrd Skeletor sticks and couldn’t be happier. These pack down to 13” and are 1/2 the weight. They are rock solid on the tree. The only complaint I have is the cork silencing is a little fragile. On one of my sticks when packing up after a hunt bumped up against the teeth on one standoff and sliced the cork and it is beginning to peel. I took a heat gun to it and I believe got it to re stick. Time will tell. But overall these sticks are great. Hopefully the cork won’t begin to peel back up where it was damaged.

These stick’s are so awesome ! Only 13” closed opening up to 20” step to step, easy attachment system together making it easier when going up the tree. They r rock solid on the tree and after u take the rope off they are still stuck to the tree, that’s how great they grab the tree. I am so enjoying these sticks and would highly recommend them.

I am not on to do reviews but these sticks are worth it.
They bite to the tree well, the attachment method is something that works great and no need for a 3rd party accessory’s. Very light weight and well designed. I did struggle with the way to attach at first but after a couple of practice tries and the video in the resource tab rock solid!!

Great sticks. Tie up nice for transport. Very quiet for the design. Just would like a sticker to go with it!

To all the people that are worried about the moving parts these things are solid. They are easy to extend and contract and bite well on the tree even when side loaded. The rope attachment is easy to use and cinches very tight. I will say when you extend them you will need to keep your fingers over the locking button to dampen the noise made by them locking into place. At 13” they are very compact and easy to haul through the woods. I would recommend these sticks to anyone.

The maxx double step aiders were not in the box I only received the icon x20 3pk .
The parcel was the icon x20 3pk box sealed inside a plastic black bag that was it.

Very happy with these. They bite even better then my skeletors. This companay has never let me down!

I consider myself a gear junkie and these are the best sticks ive ever used. You can tell they thought of the finer details in the design, love them

Weight and packability are the two most important features for me — and these sticks deliver on both. They’re super light, and the telescoping design means they pack down small and tight. The magnetic tabs keep them together when stacking or packing in, which makes setup and transport simple and silent.

The cork shaft is another added touch — it eliminates incidental metal-on-metal noise, so there’s no need for silencing tape. They grip the tree extremely well with no slip.

If I could change one thing.....maybe I’d prefer an amsteel attachment over rope, but honestly, I’ve had no issues with the current setup — so it’s not really a complaint.

One of my sticks did arrive with a small section of cork gouged and peeling, but a quick patch with stealth tape fixed it up easily.

I’m not sure these are the perfect climbing sticks — but I haven’t found anything better, that’s for sure.

For reference, I’m running the Sub2 platform, the Adventure Pack, and two X20 sticks with three-step amsteel aiders (not their product) — and that setup gets me about 15 feet up comfortably.

Un real quality on these sticks. Excited to put them to work this season!

Order placement to delivery to received very fast. First impression when unboxed, very cool look the workmanship looks as good as American made to me. Smooth operation. Have not put them on a tree yet, but I can’t wait too. It would be nice to get a free arsenal shirt or hat with the amount of money I spent. But non the less Thank You Arsenal.

I would give them 5 stars on design, however because of the added perfume smell in the plastic wrap I bumped it down to 4 stars. I worked in chemical industry for 15 years and know how they add perfumes to make products more appealing when picking off the shelf. However, please hold the perfume on a hunting product, not needed.
