Description

Large saddle platforms provide the freedom of movement and long-duration comfort serious hunters want, but they typically come with major trade-offs in weight and bulk. Oversized platforms often become cumbersome during transport, add significant fatigue on long hikes, and create bulky pack profiles that work against highly mobile hunting systems.

Arsenal™ developed the RZR™ MAG3 Platform to eliminate that compromise.

Built around an extra-large standing platform, MAG3 delivers exceptional maneuverability and comfort for all-day sits while remaining dramatically lighter than anything else in its class. Through precision CNC-machined 7075 aluminum construction and an aggressively optimized chassis architecture, MAG3 achieves a weight reduction of nearly 2 pounds compared to competing XL platforms — without sacrificing rigidity or stability. Despite its oversized standing surface, MAG3 also maintains an ultra-thin 1.5-inch profile, making it the only true XL platform engineered to carry this flat and efficiently. The result is a next-generation XL saddle platform that combines maximum standing freedom with elite-level mobility.

XL Platform Size

Oversized Maneuverability Without Oversized Weight

Most extra-large saddle platforms improve standing comfort and movement in the tree, but they typically introduce significant weight and carry bulk that work against mobile hunting systems. Hunters are often forced to choose between all-day comfort at height or efficient mobility on the hike in.

The RZR™ MAG3 was engineered to deliver the freedom of movement and standing confidence of a true XL platform while remaining dramatically lighter than anything else in its category. The expanded standing geometry provides substantially more usable space for repositioning, rotational shooting movement, and long-duration comfort during extended sits. Yet through advanced structural optimization and precision CNC machining, MAG3 achieves nearly a 2-pound weight reduction compared to competing platforms of similar size.

The result is a platform that gives hunters the spacious feel and maneuverability of a full-size standing platform without the fatigue and bulk traditionally associated with oversized systems.

TAPERED FRONT COMFORT EDGE

3.65" Angled Front Edge at 15°

Designed for hunters who prefer aggressive leaning positions. The longer, steeper front edge provides maximum foot support and comfort when leaning hard around the tree.

Ultra-Thin 1.5” Profile

Full XL Performance in an Exceptionally Compact Carry Form

Large platforms traditionally create major transport problems due to excessive thickness and protrusion from packs or saddles. Even lightweight oversized platforms often carry awkwardly because their vertical profile pushes weight farther away from the body during movement.

MAG3 was developed around an aggressively compressed 1.5-inch chassis architecture that allows the platform to remain remarkably flat despite its oversized standing surface. Strategic reinforcement and optimized material distribution preserve structural rigidity while minimizing unnecessary depth throughout the platform body.

This makes MAG3 the only true XL saddle platform engineered to carry this thin, allowing hunters to maintain full-platform comfort in the tree while dramatically improving packability, maneuverability, and overall transport efficiency.

CNC-Machined 7075 Aluminum Chassis

Structural Strength Tuned for Lightweight XL Performance

As platform size increases, maintaining rigidity without dramatically increasing weight becomes exponentially more difficult. Many oversized platforms compensate with excess material mass, resulting in heavier systems that become fatiguing during long approaches and aggressive mobile hunts.

The MAG3 chassis is precision CNC-machined from high-strength 7075 aluminum and engineered around an optimized load-bearing structure that maximizes stiffness while minimizing unnecessary material. Reinforced structural zones maintain platform stability during aggressive movement and side-loading positions while advanced machining removes excess mass wherever possible.

The result is an XL platform that feels exceptionally planted and stable underfoot while remaining far lighter and more mobile than traditional oversized designs.

RopeLok™ Attachment System

Controlled Tree Engagement With Locked-In Stability

Large platforms place greater leverage and rotational force against the tree, making attachment consistency even more critical during setup. Inadequate lockup can create movement under load and reduce confidence during aggressive repositioning.

The RopeLok™ system was engineered to create fast, repeatable platform engagement through a simplified mechanical tensioning architecture that allows MAG3 to seat tightly and predictably against the tree. Integrated with Arsenal’s DuraBraid™ rope system, the attachment process remains smooth and quiet while minimizing metallic setup noise and excess hardware movement.

This creates a highly stable and confidence-inspiring platform interface that maintains secure underfoot performance throughout extended hunts and dynamic movement scenarios.

Integrated Belt Clip Carry & Noise-Dampening System

XL Platform Transport Without the Bulk Penalty

Oversized platforms are notoriously cumbersome during transport, often requiring awkward pack attachment methods that create movement, clatter, and unnecessary fatigue while hiking.

MAG3 integrates a dedicated belt clip carry system alongside strategically positioned noise-dampening bumpers to streamline transport and minimize unwanted movement-related noise. Despite the platform’s large standing surface, the low-profile architecture allows it to ride closer and flatter against the body than traditional XL platforms.

The result is a cleaner, quieter, and significantly more mobile carry experience that allows hunters to run a true XL platform without the traditional mobility drawbacks.
